  1. Have your social security number and driver’s license number available. 

2024 – 2025 FAFSA ChangesÌý

Significant changes have been made to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) for the 2024-2025 school year. The  required the Department of Education to significantly update the processes and systems to award federal student aid. FASFA simplification has many benefits, including a streamlined application and better user experience, expanded eligibility for federal student aid, and reduced barriers for certain student populations. 

The updates have brought processing delays for students and schools. SWAGÊÓƵ receiving FAFSA applications from the Department of Education. We are working to import them into our system and will notify students of additional requirements as soon as possible. 

This delay will not cause any issues for students who have completed the FAFSA before the published priority deadline of July 15, 2024. SWAGÊÓƵ continually processes FAFSA applications as we receive them, even after the priority deadline. We encourage students to complete their  now. Contact the SWAGÊÓƵ Enrollment Service Center for assistance in completing your FAFSA.
